PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
• John Abbott Students (full-time, part-time, exchange, Cont Ed)
• John Abbott Staff
• Varsity athletes
o A maximum of 2 athletes per team for which they represent the College.

TEAM CATEGORY
• Open – This category welcomes all individuals to participate regardless of the gender.

POINT ALLOCATION
The points system will be used to determine the standings.

• Volleyball/Badminton
o Win 2 points
o Loss 0 points

• Soccer / Basketball
o Win 2 points
o Tie 1 point
o Loss 0 points
TIE-BREAKING CRITERIA
Volleyball/Badminton
1) Highest number of points
2) Head-to-head record
3) Number of sets won
4) Points quotient
5) Coin toss
Soccer
1) Highest number of points

Basketball
1) Highest number of points

PLAYOFFS
• At the conclusion of the regular season, the top teams will advance to single elimination playoff structure in order to crown a champion.
o 4 teams – Top 2 teams
o 5-7 teams – Top 4 teams
o 8-10 teams – Top 6 teams
o Individual Sports : Top 4 ranked players
PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY
• To be eligible for playoffs, players must have officially signed in for 50% of their team’s regular season games. If a player is injured during the regular season, they may still sign in with the scorekeeper without having to take part in the game.
