CHILD LESSONS
We are proud to offer swimming lessons from the Olympic Way Swim program, which has eight swimming levels (ten if we include tots and beginners) ranging in ability from beginner to accomplished swimmer. The detailed requirements for each level can be found in the links below. A child must master every skill at each level before progressing to the next.
During the fall, winter and spring, we offer swimming lessons on Friday evenings from 5pm to 7pm, on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8am to 12pm and on Sunday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm.

The Olympic Way Swimming Program is designed for infants aged as young as 4 months, up to 16 years old.

We also offer an Introduction to Competitive Swimming and Introduction to Lifesaving course for swimmers who have completed at least the Olympic Way Swimming Level Bronze or Red Cross Swim Kids level 8.
ADULT LESSONS
During the fall, winter and spring, we offer teen and adult swimming lessons for individuals aged 16 and up, on Tuesday evenings from 20h00 to 21h00.

We offer three different types of courses:
- Beginner: No previous swimming skill required. Learn the fundamental skills of swimming strokes.
Participants swim less than 25 meters. - Intermediate: In which you continue to work on swim strokes and build endurance. Participants must be able to swim at least 50 meters, and be comfortable in deep water.
- Advanced: In which you develop swimming strokes, increase endurance, distance and speed. Participants must be able to swim at least 100 meters, and be comfortable in deep water.
AQUAFITNESS
Looking for a new fun and refreshing way to exercise? Come and try out our Aquafitess classes!
During the fall, winter and spring, we offer Aquafit classes on Monday & Wednesday evenings from 20h00 to 21h00 and Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 16h30 to 17h30.

LIFESAVING COURSES
Are you interested in becoming a lifeguard? We are proud to offer lifesaving courses from the Canadian Lifesaving Society!

During the fall and winter, we offer the following courses:
- Bronze Medallion
- Prerequisites: 13 years old Olympic Way swimming level Gold or Red Cross Swim Kids, level 10
- Bronze Cross
- Prerequisites: 13 years old and Bronze Medallion
- Standard First Aid & National Lifeguard
- Prerequisite: 15 years old and Bronze Cross

FEES & POLICIES
The Casgrain Sports Centre is not liable for circumstances beyond our control such as the following, but not limited to, power failure, vomit or fecal accidents. No refunds will be issued and no make-up classes will be offered in cases where a situation out of our control affects a class. Exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of the management staff.
The staff and senior (60+) discount is 15% (to a maximum of $15) per course, per session. In order to benefit from a staff discount, registration must be done in person. No refund will be given after the registration payment has been processed in order to collect a discount.
Policy for late registration
- If space is still available, clients may register in classes up until the start of the 3rd week of lessons.
- If registering after registration end date, a $5.00 fee will be added to each course.
- If registering after courses have begun, a $5.00 fee will be added to each course and no price adjustments will be made for missed classes.
Policy for refunds
For courses
- Requests must be made before the start of the 3rd class, after which no refund will be issued.
- The refund request must be made to the Pool Technician or Supervisor on duty.
- The date at which the refund request is completed will be considered as the cancellation date and will be used to calculate the eligible amount for the refund.
- A $10.00 administration fee will be charged per transaction.
For requalification clinics
- No credits or refunds will be issued for requalification clinics.
