Since the 1998 season Wade has been co-head coach at Abbott where he concentrates as the Back’s Coach. His coaching experience includes three years at MacDonald High School and in the past as an assistant coach with the Barbarians women’s team. His rugby playing started in High School and while attending John Abbott, he played for the Islanders Rugby Team in the 1993-94 season. Coach Ashworth has played club rugby with the Montreal Barbarians for the past 13 years and currently plays for the Barbarians Premier division team. After Abbott he continued his studies at Concordia University where he graduated with a B.A. in the specialization of Physical Geography.
