Bio

David Hill David is entering his 35th year as a professional in the PGA of Canada. From early on he has devoted his career to instruction and coaching. Initiated to the game as a youngster, David has competed since youth and won his first ever professional tournament he competed in after leaving the amateur ranks. He also qualified for all three world putting championships held from 2017-19 finishing 9th overall in the inaugural event in which he competed against PGA Tour players. More importantly David began focusing his energies in 2008 to help aspiring young competitive players. Prior he worked with a few top amateurs, LPGA and mini-tour professionals while running his golf academy in Montreal. He has worked with a host of players who have won provincial, NCAA and National events including past John Abbott standouts; Emily Romancew and Jake Houston. David’s favourite quote is, “It’s not what you achieve but what you overcome”. He’s very much excited about the opportunity to work with the Islanders and their development as a strong competitive squad
