JOHN ABBOTT COLLEGE CASGRAIN POOL IS LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED, RESPONSIBLE, RELIABLE, COMMITTED AND ENTHUSIASTIC LIFEGUARDS AND SWIMMING INSTRUCTORS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- National Lifeguard certification (pool option) – MANDATORY
- Olympic Way Instructor certification (an asset)
- Lifesaving Society Instructor certification (an asset)
- Bilingual (English & French, oral)
- Must be a full time John Abbott student in good academic standing
- Must enjoy working with the public
- Availability MUST include variety of days, evenings and weekends.

**N.B. Staff are typically not scheduled many hours but can work a maximum of 15 hours per week. The pay rate is currently $23.85/ hr + 8% for fringe benefits ($25.76/ hour). We have no issue with staff having another part-time job so long as they can still provide availability as needed (minimum one lesson shift on weekends).
